The Life Decisions Gently Used Shoe Drive is a youth leadership project within our Group Mentoring Program that runs every other year!

Our young people work alongside mentors, learning event planning life skills, and gaining a sense of community empowerment–from start to finish.. We partner with Funds2Orgs, who pays Life Decisions per pound of collected shoes. Funds2Orgs then gives donated shoes to entrepreneurs in developing countries to sell in their communities creating micro-enterprise opportunities globally.

Project Goals:

• Engage 75 organizations in the Stateline Area collecting Gently Used Shoes!

• Engage 100 individuals to commit to collecting  25 pairs of gently used shoes 

• Together, Collect 10,000 pairs of gently used shoes by June 13!

Get Involved:

1. Become a Host site: Collect gently used shoes now thru June 13. Life Decisions can provide the box and flyers and promotional items. You use those items to spread the word in your network. 

2. Drop off new and gently used shoes (any size & style) to any of the participating host sites listed now thru June 13 or to Life Decisions at 3107 E state St Rockford 61108.
